Spend time on your Australian gap year as a real-life Jackaroo. You’ll be trained to be an Australian cowboy or cowgirl on this program. You’ll be shown how to farm using well established Jackaroo techniques, nearly all from horseback.
You have the choice of a five-day course or an eleven-day course. The eleven-day course will teach you the finer details of the Jackeroo trade, where the five-day course will be a more “fun” course.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never got on a horse before, or you’ve been riding all your life, every level of experience is welcome and will be accommodated through the course.
You can choose between either the 5 day school, or the 11 day.
You will learn the same skills on both courses, but more time will be taken on the 11-day school to familiarise and train you with the details of the Jackaroo profession, whereas the 5 day school is more of a ‘fun’ course!
All levels of rider are welcome, from complete beginner to advanced – your skills will be taken into account throughout the course.
