Fun activities are incorporated into this program, which include a two-day visit to the Chitwan National Park where you can ride an elephant and watch the magnificent Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tigers – indigenous to the area.

Additional trips include a visit to a local village, a trip to a baby elephant center, a jungle walk and an opportunity to learn the traditional Nepali way to dance.  Sightseeing tours of Kathmandu are also included in the program.

If you would like us to help you organize extra activities such as jungle safaris, treks or rafting, please ask your advisor.

Accommodation

Volunteers stay with a local family in the village where they are teaching - providing them with first hand experience of the lifestyle and culture of the Nepali people.

Programme Summary:
Enhance the teaching offered in schools, monasteries and orphanages in Nepal while immersing yourself in the culture of this poor but beautiful country.  Take the opportunity to see rhinoceros and tigers, visit a baby elephant centre, join jungle walks and visit the main sights of Kathmandu.
